The Northeast Conference Champion Sacred Heart women s cross country team placed 24th out of 37 teams at the NCAA Northeast Regional on Friday at Franklin Park.

Six Pioneers earned All-NEC honors, all placing in the top 12, as SHU ran away with the team title, finishing 35 points clear of second place Central Connecticut State with a total of 34.
