The Sacred Heart men’s and women’s track and field teams wrapped up day one of the 2013 Northeast Conference Indoor Championships on Saturday at the Prince George Sports and Learning Complex in Landover, MD. The SHU women were led by junior Brianna Castrogivanni (Commack, NY) who was the NEC Individual Champion in the 3,000 meters, helping put the Pioneers in second place after day one. The SHU men sit in third heading into Sunday’s final events.
